The fortune gourd (葫芦 húlú) has long been a symbol of wealth and prosperity in Chinese tradition. Its rounded form represents abundance, while the word itself carries auspicious connotations of “fortune received from all directions” (八方纳财). Instructions Open the bottle of essential oil, remove the cap, and pour into the ceramic gourd vessel. Insert 2–3 diffuser reeds into the oil. The liquid will travel up the reeds, gradually releasing fragrance into the air. Notes For best results, place in a well-ventilated space but away from direct sunlight or strong airflow.
